A couple of years ago I purchased a ladies Antique Hunting Whip from Reading Auctions. It is the usual deer antler leather handled whip with hallmarked silver furrels and a bound shaft ending with a thong. Engraved on one of the silver furrels it says "Phillis Harman 10.Feb:1906" the hallmarks also relate to the same date. Although I good condition I would say that Phillis used this whip a lot as her thumb has left an indentation on the leather.

I would love to know more about phillis, which pack she hunted with and if possible why this date was significant. Any information would be great :)

Happy Hunter that is so nice to hear. I still use Phillis's whip out hunting and would like to think that she would be proud to know that her whip is still helping to keep a tradition alive as I am sure your great Aunt is :)

From familysearch.org there are two Phillis Harmans that may match

The first is Phillis Maria Harmon born Nov 1859 Dorset, England

That would make this Phillis 51 in 1911

Or there is a "Phyllis" Harman born Mar 1896 Surrey, England

who would have been just 16 in 1911!

A paid subscription to something like Ancestory.com will give you a wider range of sources

Best of luck...
