A couple of years ago I purchased a ladies Antique Hunting Whip from Reading Auctions. It is the usual deer antler leather handled whip with hallmarked silver furrels and a bound shaft ending with a thong. Engraved on one of the silver furrels it says "Phillis Harman 10.Feb:1906" the hallmarks also relate to the same date. Although I good condition I would say that Phillis used this whip a lot as her thumb has left an indentation on the leather.
I would love to know more about phillis, which pack she hunted with and if possible why this date was significant. Any information would be great
