Antlers and Christmas Gear for Pony?

Sorry, me again!

Does anyone know where I can get hold of some cheap Christmas gear to dress up my shetland? I think I would like to take him for a stroll around the village to deliver Christmas cards and would like some antlers and maybe some christmas leg bands and things for him. Preferably as cheap as possible!

I looked on ebay but not really sure what to search for. If all else fails I guess I could go for tinsel but it wouldn't be the same.

PS. He will be in a headcollar but I'll put high vis on me and some on him if I can find something to fit him.

Antlers: I used to use the normal ones you buy at the local shop amd celotaped them to the headpiece of the bridle, not sure if it would work with a headcollar.

You could get some cheap red bandages and chop them to size then stick some cotton wool around the top/bottom edge for fur lined effect. Failing that tinsel looks good as a neck strap.
 
Reindeer ears from pound shop, just tape them onto a bridle/headcollar. To cover him buy a red single bed sheet from ebay (for Pickle was a double but obv shetland is a different story haha) and red bandages you can pick up cheaply :) Add a bit of Tinsel and VOILA!
 
its all about home made :D

I just use cheap santa hats cut two small holes each end and tie to browband/headstall. I snapped the ends of a head band with antlers as plastic headband too tight for horse,and then selotaped to bridle. Got a bit happy with tinsel.

Found some bells in wilkonsons and attacked to a neck band of tinsel. errrr had battery operated fairy lights last year

As for leg bands make them, cut up a cheap santa suit, I paid 2.99 from wilkinsons for a santa jacket last year and chopped it up.

We go to the pub every year :D No idea what Samba is gonna make of the affair this year :D Sorry but even for me its too early in the year for fotos :D
 
Thank youuuu! You are all geniuses. :D I think he will look super cute... we only have about 2 cards to deliver but it will still be fun. :p He is looking really fluffy and likes to go walking so it would be a fun adventure for him (I might even go so far as to brush him first!).
