Anxiety around horses

hi im 32 year old with kids and ponies the issue i have since having kids ive developed anxiety and always think im going to get 2 hoofs in the head if the ponies start acting up which makes my anxiety and the horses anxiety worse . i have loved horses all my life but this is just stealing my enjoyment of them has anyone gone through this or something like this ?

Its perfectly natural to feel like that after kids. And of course, its a very real situation that can happen! The best thing i can advise is to try as hard as you can to be zen before you deal with the ponies, and have someone else on hand with you so that if you feel you are getting too anxious, they can take over for a little bit to let you get yourself back. Then you can try taking over again. All in small bits and small steps. Do you wear a hat/bp when you are around them? if not pop them on, it may help you feel a little less anxious
