Definetely going to Bradwall on 28th April!! Yeh, only doing intro though with new horse.
So has anyone got any advice or tips for us, she doesn't appear to blow up at new venues, quite calm.
For dressage i figured i would use my short spurs because she tends to go out through her shoulder when seeing another horse elsewhere. And i will warm her up for at least half an hour before - gets her thinking.
For SJ, I think i will keep her happy mouth snaffle in, she doesn't take a pull round a course, keep my reins short (so she doesn't dive out) keep to the centre of the jump.
For xc, happy mouth again, spurs on, for the extra oomphh.
Any more advice for a first time xc run with her, anything i have left out??
I am doing Southview in the middle of this week to get the SJ perfect, my dressage trainer is coming down to ride her and train me twice a week, and i am visiting a couple of XC courses in the next two weeks.
( it does sound like i'm cramming alot in, but i want to keep it fresh in her memory)
