Nearly 6 months ago I entered a competition in one of the monthly riding magazines and won. I was over the moon because part of the prize was a lesson with one of our top riders. Since then I feel like I have been constantly badgering the company arranging the lesson to try and find out when it is going to be and all they say is they should have a date for me within the week or they will call me back and so it goes on. I have even contacted the magazine and received assurances that I will hear something soon and now we are 6mths down the line and still nothing. I even emailed the said riders website and got a nice reply from his PR lady saying he was competing abroad and would sort something out when he got back - but that was nearly a month ago now.
I know I'm probably very low on the list of all these people's priorities but winning this lesson meant the world to me and I feel so despondant that its never actually going to happen.
I worry that if I keep badgering these people I am going to end up annoying the life out of them and they will be even less inclined to do anything but if I don't do anything I think I am going to miss out on something that literally would be the opportunity of a lifetime.
Any advice what to do?
