I bought a new brown saddle and now I need a brown bridle. I just mainly hack and school but have joined a riding club so will be doing a few local events with them. My horse has quite a large cobby head, so am thinking that I would like a hunter type bridle.
Could anyone recommend what sort I should look for and where from? Am looking to spend upto approx £120.

Oh and the pretty head it is to adorn is this one....

i think one of the nice Sabre bridles with the wide nose bands would look great (sorry cant remember the 'model'- and Sabre stays looking lovely for a long time - had mine about 10 years and it still looks great. just make sure you measure up as sometimes they can come a bit small.

Thats it the Eton! think that would look great! (but like i say, make sure you measure) - i always prefer buying from a tack shop for bridles - get to have a proper feel and better idea of size.

Want to see pics once you have one!!

It is nice, isn't it!! I'm near Goole in East Yorks, so have looked at the Sabre website and my nearest supplier is Patrick Wilkinson in Beverley. So I think I'll head over there and pick one up.

Yes will check the measurements (have printed a chart off the Sabre website) as I think I'll need a cob bridle but a full brow band.
