How much do you pay for DIY/assisted DIY and what's included?

Trying to work out budgets as going for a job which is a pay cut and I'm relocating so not sure what it's like price wise that way.

I'm on the Notts/Derbys border. I pay £30 DIY livery which is the norm around here. I get year round grazing and a stable, good floodlit manege, tackroom, storage for hay/straw but any services have to be paid for.

I'm probably well out of date, used to pay £20 per week DIY, including stable, field and haylage. Or £23 per week for above without the haylage but with facilities such as schools.

I'm in Amber Valley and our yard is about £29 a week DIY but we have an indoor and outdoor school both with floodlights. I found it difficult to find anywhere with a school suitable for riding in after dark which was essential for me. Our yard also offers livery services if you want them.

You can get cheaper in the south of the county, as in south of derby as there are far more yards and often the facilities are better too.

Not sure what it is like further north......

There are quite a few derbyshire folk on here so keep bumping.

I've got a yearling so as long as theres somewhere to play and at least daytime turn out (preferably 24/7) im not fussed on having loads of facilities.

I'll be in chesterfield so around that way but sounds not that much more than the average here. I pay 20pw atm but that's a private place between two of us and we don't stable.

My yard is 37 per week DIY. You have to add haylage on to that. 5 day livery works out much cheaper as you get feed, haylage and bedding all in for 85 on straw or 75 if you buy your own shavings. Have all year round turnout but in at night in winter. Floodlit outdoor school, lunging pen, tackroom, etc. I'm in Chesterfield so if you want anymore details feel free to pm me. X x

In winter I pay £30 per week for my pony and £36 for my horse. This includes:

Feed, rug chance and turnout in the morning Mon - Fri
Ad lib hay and/or haylage
Straw
Hay/Haylage bale in the fields
Individual/paired/grouped paddocks (up to you!)
School
Decent off road hacking
Turnout all day

In summer its £20 a week thats for 24/7 turnout.

I'm Notts/derby border j25 of m1 (ok so not ideal for rural hacking!) £92 plus £8 (horse box) a month plus hay/straw on top. They come in winter nights from about end of oct/nov time depending. DIY, fl menage, lock ups with each stable. If you come across any out 24/7 365 Sandiacre/trowell way please let me know. Good luck, hard with salaries/job changes etc.
