Any Equichavs out there? Need JW bling browband/ebay help!

Does anyone have a John Whittaker diamonte browband? If so, do you know of yours has a JW badge or branding on it or do some of them - maybe earlier ones - not have a badge or any markings on them?

Just hoping I haven't been "done" on ebay... Bought a new havana browband, its narrow and chunky - really nice and simple with just a single row of clear diamonte - but no branding anywhere on it though it was sold as a John Whittaker one...

I had a JW

about 3 years ago, it did'nt have any branding anywhere on it and was similar to the one you described. I will see if I can find a photo for you

The new JW ones all seem to have the oval badge, well the ones I have seen anyway.

i did get mine from the new derby house store at malton this weekend.

I got a pink bucket, a saddlesoap set (no idea why I never clean anything!) a new bit and some weeties for the horses... oh and a heavy duty stall chain to stop the orange one escaping!

The browband is really nice, and if someone else has one with no branding then I'll be OK, pic would be appreciated, or I'll take one tonight!

i got a leadrope, a fly mask and a nuumed numnah (iv wanted one for ages.... its one of them fully lined ones with a bit of a collar round the back of my saddle...looks STUNNING! well worth 60 odd quid!)

This is JW with no branding, it was too big which is what makes it so naff looking- in real life it is just one row of diamantes. I bought it from a JW stand at Olympia so I know it was definately JW

Thats not that bad - admittedly I can't see the horses legs to see what boots you have on, but you haven't got a mexican grakle and 3 ring gag and a V check whittaker breastplate so you should be OK...

UNLESS... you have matching JW tendon and fetlock boots to match your saddlecloth, complete with fluffy lining...

Nope, it was a long time ago so I can't remember what she was wearing but it definately was'nt pale blue fluffy tendon boots! The bit that makes me cringe is the ill fitting cheap show jacket, the noseband really low and and completely pointless and that fact her name was written all over that numnah in gold
