Hi,

I have done searches on here but all quite old. Does anyone have any experience of the above two that they wouldn't mind sharing please?

I have a boss xs and love it. Had it since june and havent found anything badly made/poorly designed so far. My horse on one occasion started bucking on route to somewhere (think a bee or something got in and poss stung him as never done this before). I honestly thought he would have damaged himself/box but he only had a few scratches and the box wasnt marked in the slightest and it felt so stable when he did it. I looked at loads when i got mine and honestly so glad i went for them!

I have had my Boss XL for nearly 3 years and it is an amazing box. Well built, horses love it and it just works. Driving is a dream. If you are interested I shall be selling mine soon as need to upgrade to 7.5t unfortunately, as will really miss this little box.

I havent seen a Boss but love Regent. We are quite local to them, they have done work on my 7.5t and they were very reasonable, fantastic to deal with and I wouldnt hesitate to use them again. If I was buying a 3.5t or could afford a new 7.5t, Regent would be my choice. I seen the 3.5t with ramps on both sides, great idea.

I hired a regent recently (if you're near to gloucestershire, it was from here http://point2pointhire.co.uk/ourhorsebox/) and it was fabulous to drive - no more tricky than a car. It was a lot more stable than I was expecting it to be, and seemed to be a really nicely finished box, with some good features and ventilation. I particularly liked that you can change the height of both the tie and hay rings to suit your horse, and it had plenty of storage. It has made me start looking at 3.5t boxes myself, as previously I would only have considered a 7.5t.

I have a boss lorry... I love it..was the first one they ever built... And from mine they ironed out all little snags I had... I have travelled up and down the country to Polocrosse tournaments in mine, often with two ponies and two people, I have 1300 payload it does about 35 mpg, and I even tow a caravan too.. Boss are super with after sales service, I love all the space inside and the large tack lockers, and closed in grooms area so hay don't get everywhere..

We have a boss had it since April and absolutely love it. We travel mares with foals at foot stallions youngsters and it really is fab. Solid, safe and lovely to drive. The ramp is really well built not like some of these flimsy ramps you see in the 3.5 ton lorries. A proper bulk head and no sharp edges or anything. Highly recommend them.

Excellent, thank you for the feedback everyone. Pleased both receive positive reviews! A decision has been made, so fingers are firmly crossed!
