I need a feed block for an ancient highland bull but there are now ponies in his field so i can't use the usual Rumenco Rumivite one i've used in the past as it has Urea in it.

I need a high protein block (not a mineral one as its actually for feed as opposed to a supplement) I'll tried googling but with no luck.

The ponies don't tend to go up the top side of the field where he stays and there is only a tiny chance they'd try eat it, but I don't want to take even the slightest risk of them trying a block with urea. I'm getting a bit panicked with this weather and although he's getting haylage (again no silage which would be better for him in case there are traces left in the field) I would be much happier knowing he had access to more feed if he needed it.

Any suggestions of a manufacturer?

Hmm, tricky, the Rumevite standard cattle block doesn't contain urea, but then again, it's just a mineral block.
How about giving him some compound feed? the all purpose stock mixes are fairly safe for ponies.

ETS - urea has no benefits but also, as far as I'm aware no detrimental effect for horses.
