Hi all,
Right im trying to think of a few fun things i could do with Buddy. Im trying to stick to the plan that everyday i do something with not...not all days making him actually do any hard work though.
As putting him back into right frame of work i want to come to some kind of plan to try and make things fun and easy for him.
I plan to spend 2 days a week sticking to lunging, im not lunging him too long though about 5 minutes each way just to get him listening to me. I have also been doing some leading work before i lunge him just walking him around, getting him to back up, stand and move over.
Today i let him have some fun and went a ran him over a few small jumps in the jumping field. He really enjoys it he gets so excited and jumps great. Is it good or bad jumping him at 3...would i be right in thinking its ok aslong as am not sitting on him?
So what else could i do with him? Was thinking maybe taking him for a little stroll down the road one the days? Im not planning on backing him until come back from holiday as just want to get him happy doing everything again.
Hes doing great though i was just wondering whether anyone had anymore ideas. I dont want to lunge him much now as he is very fit and dont want him getting too strong.
Just want to keep it all going well now!
