Does anyone have any pics from Hartpury CCI* last year? Would like to have a look before i click, go on the entry!!

Thank you - water was what i wanted to see, amongst everythign else!

Well not totally decided, the fact that according to eventing 70% went clear at Hartpury and 49% at Blair is one thing.....the other thing is as we'd go via thirlestane which = £100 stabling + entry fee and Blair is more expensive anywya, potentially i'd get the whole of Weston Park for the same price as my 10 days away in scotland!!!

BUT I do love Blair......he's nto quite right at the moment so it depends if i can get him ready for hartpury?

Nickym, just thought of another question.. a friend of mine did the young rider europeans when they were there several years ago, and they were stabled in some VERY smart stables.. would they have just been for the europeans, or are they nice for all doing the 3day there??
At Blair you're just stabled in some flappy tent

which is only alright if the weather is ok.

I watched the pony and the YR Europeans at Hartpury, seems like years ago! You get stabled in the main blocks Claire.

That's me and Hector, yes. He was fab considering he'd had his last run 3 months less one day before that!

We were in the temporary stabling which wasn't so great, other than that we overlooked the main arena so could see what was going on.

I groomed at Hartbury event a couple of years ago. It was the year when it was boiling hot and they had massive fans spraying out water in the stable yard. I loved it there though. Lovely venue and the stables were an American Barn (not that great in that hot weather though). Looked very smart!

Yes its permanent stables at Hartpury, Blair's are fine though, they're using the Starbox like Burgie/Thirlestane I think Houghton etc use, they're nice portable ones.

West Wilts on Fri, Smith Lawns on the Tues, then Hartpury trot up on Wed.

Party hard on the Sat. night girls?? lets hope it is celebration for all
