Alot of you will know jlav and may have read about her foal who is missing. Someone has just suggested a helicopter to search. Does anyone know anyone to approach.

Contact the nearest heliport - they may be able to forward your request. Also the MOD and police ( probably wont search specifically but may keep an eye out)

Also just try any local airfields as you can have helicopters kept at those - also some microlight pilots may be able to have a look out when they are up and above anyway even if it is not a specific search.

Microlight pilots could be the way to go! A colleague used to fly one and something like this would have had him out searching all he could! Unfortunately he no longer has a licence due to health issues and is not local but I will ask him tomorrow if he does know anyone in the area.
