Any Hunts looking for horses?

Just wondering if anyone knows if any hunts are looking for horses? I have a nice middleweight hunter who would be an ideal hunt horse / masters horse and am trying to find an ideal 'career' for him as he needs to be kept busy!

I would doubt there'd be many as they've all just had an easy month not hunting!!

Has your horse hunted before? If so, is he a proper "made" hunter, who stands at the meet, on point etc etc - is he perfect with hounds? Will he jump away from the field in cold blood?

If you can't answer yes to all these questions, no hunt will be interested as they won't have time at this part of the season to be teaching a horse its job.

I wouldn't answer these questions on here, as it could be construed as advertising - admin are hot on these matters.

Masters' horses are an entirely different matter - and depend a lot on the country they have to cross.

Also - you'd be better off advertising him as a hunter not as a hunt horse - hunts rarely pay much money!!
