After a good day out yesterday, my local hunt has ended for the season :( just wondering if any hunts are planning on continuing for another week and are allowing visitors? Thanks

Can't guarantee they are allowing visitors, but I expect that they are; the Heythrop are carrying on for another week, and the VWH keep going until early April. Both packs are certainly worth a visit.

All depends on where you are? In most areas there will be a hunt that will carry on until April including notably the South Dorset and Woodland Pytchley

In the East most hunts are still hunting until the middle of the week ahead and many next weekend as well. In general most hunts that hunt on grass (livestock areas) will end now, arable areas will end next weekend and woodland or moorland hunts will keep on going beyond next weekend.

Don't forget the Exmoor packs too.
TBH, it all depends which part of the country they are as each area will have earlier or later breeding vixens but most packs should finish by now as they stand the chance of disturbing or even killing pregnant/nursing vixens whose cubs are then left to die. Don't get me wrong, I'm all in favour of hunting but it is something to be aware of; it shouldn't be at the expense of the future generation.

Well put, though with the current trail hunting some hunts which formerly would have stopped by now are carrying on for an extra 2 weeks or so. In areas (away from moorland and similar) where vixens are delivering cubs now, responsible hunts would (pre-ban) impose a strict policy of no digging, and take extra care to avoid 'chopping' foxes. It's also fortunate that due to their lack of scent, it's very hard to hunt a pregnant vixen with hounds!
