My horse has been diagnosed with synovitis in his back fetlock. The vet came out and medictaed the joint, this was 3 days before xmas. The area around the joint looked great a few days later, swelling had gone down. The swelling is now back but he has had a slight windgall on this hind leg since I got him, (4 years ago). The vet did mention that if medicating the joint didn't work then he may need to preform keyhole to see whats going on.
Will the vet medicate the joint again? or will the next step be keyhole?
He is due out again next friday so will obviously ask him then but your opinions/experiences would be great, thanks.
