Does anyone have any ideas for making jumps up from random bits lying around at the yard or at home as a short term until jumps arrive as am competing tuesday and need a practice
all ideas appreciated :)

If you have any farms around you, they tend to use fertiliser and various sprays in volume. They often have large plastic containers which (washed out and with some water in) are good as wings/blocks for little fences.

barrels, trees that fell down.
if you're practicing over "water" jumps and scary fillers, i lay a bunch of numnahs down in a line, and jump over those :D
chairs also make good wings, as do bales of hay.

these are my homemade jump fillers not the wings

the 2nd one is so simple just use old fencing rails thats all you need. the road closed i bought but made two identical and sold them one 4by 2 then u can use two fencing rails to make shape then i bought plastic graphics things from homebase and used the acrylic spray paints u can buy from them and sprayed the shapes of noahs arch
