Any ideas? (gross, sorry)

Hi,

Long story short, puppy has a spot on her vulva. Its just on the outside but right by the "slit", and its about the size of half a pea, hard, and it doesnt look like a blocked pore because its proud from the surface of the skin if that makes sense, like blocked pores on me arent stuck out from the skin.

No discharge yesterday but today there was quite a lot of creamy/yellowy discharge when i checked today, but the minute I tried to look properly she licked it away.

Any ideas? The vet saw it yesterday when her cast from the leg came off and they all looked a bit worried but told me to bring her back if it changes. Help? Anyone elses dog had this?

She was spayed about 3 weeks ago now xxxxx

I have seen this on one of my bitches. Was a few years ago but it never caused a problem, and disappeared on its own. It could be something as simple as just a bit of irritation, if she has recently been spayed possibly the strength of her urine has altered slightly . If there is discharge again perhaps speak to the vet , and try bathing with salt water in case it is just a blocked pore or similar.

Ets. Sounds like she's had a busy time at the vets, spayed and a cast on her leg

Hiya, thanks for your comments thats quite reassuring that it went away on its own.

And yes, we've had her from 14 weeks, shes now 7 months and so far we've not gone more than 2 weeks without a vet visit!!!!! xxxx
