So went to take my boys swimming yesterday, and after a very nasty fall ended up in A&E with one of my boys :(
Anyhow now I am stuck for ideas what to do with them for the rest of the week... we normally do daily outings like cinema, swimming, kids activity centres, camping, hiking and biking, but now James has had steri-strips put on his knee, we are sort of limited to what we can do... any ideas?

Thanks :)

Depends how old they are. Museums, not just the old bones natural history types, a science musuem with interactive experiments. Art galleries often have fun stuff on, more fun with other kids than doing craft at home. Castles & Roman ruin type things? They can play soldiers! Check out local parks, ours have various things on like treasure hunts, make & fly kites, nature tours. Print off something to identify various plants/leaves/birds, take a picnic & go to the park with a list of stuff to find. Get them to build a den at home, with sheets, table & chairs etc so they can camp in the house. And check out local libraries.
