On Saturday morning Sage, Dex and I were pootling about the field. Dex was hooning and Sage was sniffing. I called her to me and she was on 3 legs. Had a good prod and poke and could find nothing obvious in her foot or leg. She was fine in herself. Spoke to my vet who advised Metacam and keep an eye.
Sunday she was completely sound!! Monday after getting out of her basket she was back on 3 legs but it walked off and again she was sound. Has been sound since.
Weird hey? Any ideas? I am keeping an eye on her and will whisk her off to see the nice vet man if it reoccurs.

Maybe just over-stretched herself while hooning, wouldn't panic too much, and being a drama queen :p
Probably done some muscles/soft tissue damage that might be hard for the vet to pick up.

coal - my cocker - was literally on 3 legs for a few days... then he chased a pheasant and was miraculously cured
i'd just ensure limited exersise for a few days and i'm sure it will go away :)

That's the strange thing though CC. She wasn't hooning about she was just quietly sniffing about one minute and on 3 legs the next. I did think she may have been bitten but that wouldn't explain dead lame one day then sound, then lame etc. Plus I couldn't find any sign of a bite or sting. Very odd, another of lifes unexplained mysteries. :p
