Hi, I have a pile of old saddlecloth and horse boots that are not in good enough condition to sell on ebay, but it seems a shame to put them in the bin. Does any one have an ideas on how to recycle them? Will the places that give you money for clothes based on weight take them? Or do you know of any horse charities that would like them? Thanks

If you google horse rescue or horse sanctuary and your county, you will probably find rescues local to you who will be glad of them - if not to use, then to sell to make a few ££££s for their funds. I sometimes do an equine car boot to sell things that people wouldn't pay much for. Just a plea though - please wash them before you hand them over, there is nothing worse than a heap of smelly unwashed horsey stuff
