The vet came out on monday to see her and she goy a good going over.
The vet wasnt happy with the noises her gut was making and agreed that she was hyper sensitive about touhing her belly.
The first port of call was to take her off haylage and onto hay. Vet thinks it'sjust wayy to rich for her, sending her gut into overdrive/constant spazming. I was given 10 days of danilon to try if I couldn't get hold of hay (yard only uses haylage) but got some from a livery who left recently.
What a difference there is already! She's been on hay at night (still getting some haylage in the field, vet okay with this) for two days now. I rode yesterday (still with no saddle) and she was so much more relaxed than normal
By no means all the way there yet but it will take a wee while to get it all out of her system. If she doesn't continue to improve we will be investiagting feed allergies and possibly ulcers. I do think though that we might be onto something now though!
Will keep you updated though
