I have a rising 7yr old, dutch warmblood. Have bought on slowly, lightly jumped up to discovery over the last year, always been barefoot and minimal feed etc. Backed her myself as a 4yr old

She has always had an occasional trip on stoney ground with front feet, this seems to have increased slightly over the last 8 weeks or so. She also flisks her head up and down after a schooling session, on the way home from a hack. Again this is something that has been there for the last 3 years.
Over the last 6 weeks she has started toe dragging behind, only slightly, worse on the right hind, only on a school surface.

We have had Rob JAckson look, who said her pelvis was locked but happy with her after treatment. Toe dragging has improved slightly but still there.

She is happy in herself, muscled nicely and evenly, keen to work.
I'm going to get the vet out next week, has anyone got any ideas?

I think things like tripping and toe dragging can be linked to arthritis in various joints and navicular, so definitely a good idea to get the vet to look.

Echo that. Arthritis might be unlikely if she is lightly worked - but I would be thinking a neurological problem. KS or wobblers or similar.

If her front feet are a little footsore it will change her balance and that may be causing the toe dragging. Try some boots in front and see if it makes any difference

Those were all the signs my gelding displayed over a year or so before he eventually went lame and turned out to be hock arthritis. He was only 7 at the time. Hopefully you can sort yours or it’s something else x

Mine had the same issues and was found to have hock arthritis at 4, and neck changes and SI problems at 6. We also suspect there was early stage wobblers alongside.
