Any ideas where I might find this bit?????

I am looking for a hanging cheek snaffle, with a lozenge and a curved mouthpiece, anybody know where I can get one???? I've looked on bit world, neue schule, and online tack shops and can't find one anywhere. At the mo i'm borrowing my trainers, but she can't remember where she bought it, any ideas much appreciated.

Is it branded? The Nue Schule ones are as are numerous others. Also what colour metal is it? That would narrow it down! Although i expect it is this one--

It sounds like you are after a JP hanging cheek. I dont think these have lozenges though, they are a french link.

Try The Horse Bit Shop Online, they sell the NS bits and have a wide range, no doubt be able to source you one out or find a close alternative.

I've got this bit. It's from the Hilary Vernon Informed Bitting range made by Abbey bits. I've only used it a couple of times and it's no longer needed so could sell if you were interested. It's 5.25" by the way.

i've got one, it's a John Dewsbury (Kangaroo metal) 5 1/2", it's silver coloured but warmer than stainless.
let me know if you want to borrow to try, i'd be prepared to sell it, haven't used it for years.
