i brought the horses in last night to give them a bit tlc and their teas, did everything as normal, holly came in last, gave them their teas and toddled off to get my grooming kit, i heard a loud bang so i ran out of the tackroom, to find holly, standing holding her back leg up and her stable door totally off its hinges, i can only presume she jumped, i checked her over walked her around for ten mins and sound no heat etc, i then decided just to put her fly spray on and put her back out, well she did a mini rear and came down on my bad knee (insert a few curse words from me)
im confused, shes never like this and has never attempted to jump a stable door, her best mate was beside her the others were opposite, she had her feed hay and water, she is normally the type of pony who doesnt care if she is in on her own or not, anyones elses horses acting a bit nutty at the minute or can anyone think of what on earth got into her, she knows they have their tea and go back out i just cant get my head around it
thanks for any replies

Hiya. Horses are very susceptible to the weather and there is a deftinate storm in the air at the mo. One of mine was out of sorts yesterday and she is the most placid i've got. Something in the air i reckon and maybe coming in season?? XX

she was just standing waiting at the gate as normal, you can see our stables from the field gate, its literally 20 yards away and they all get brought it in the same order every night, holly last as she doesnt mind being on her own

fortunately no, she has sweet itch so its stays off as much as possible, she did feel very sorry for herself this morning, coming up for cuddles silly little girl nearly gave me a heart attack

PENNY 15H TB DID SOMETHING STRANGE FEW DAYS AGO, AND THIS MORNING I FOUND OUT SHE HAD BEEN STUNG BY A WASP WE THINK, SWELLING GOING NOW BUT SHE REALLY SPOOKED ON A HACK GOOD JOB I WAS WALKING AT HER SIDE AND GRABBED HER TO STOP HER . WASPS ARE A PAIN AT THE MOMENT
