We have vaccancies at my yard for working pupil. You will not earn much but you could do a fair few BHS exams in a year and be much better off than being at Tesco.

Dont think you can charge to exercise horses - can you??

I think you can but I bet you would need insurance? What if anything happened and the owners sued you? You'd be even worse off don't you think?

ok then-maybe not excercising horses was just an idea.
Could muck out etc though.

Yes I'm sure there are alot of people who would pay for someone to maybe change rugs, turn out and muck out, leaving their stable ready for when they bring them in at night as when you read some of the posts on here. Everyone mostly struggle for time to do all this. It would them leave them time to excercise their own horses.

If you have a BHS gold membership you will be covered insurance wise. I charge £10 a time to ride, whether that be a 2 hour long hack or schooling session... There are always people needing general duties help though, advertise and you will get loads of answers i reckon!

Only third party I don't think it will cover vet bills. we're gold member and it doesn't cover this!

Tbh i think you will earn alot more doing bar work or waitressing than with horses as it wont necessarily be consistent whereas a usual job will be. Most people did waitressing to fund their gap year in my group of friends.
