Don't normally post much but thought would get some advise from here. 9yr old 14.2 gelding went for lesson alst night. Just didn't feel right in R hind and not stepping through. Also reluctant off the leg into trot. Stopped lesson hopped off and took him home. He is really miserable. Hamstrings are a little tight but no heat in leg, foot etc. I have a feeling he has slipped in the field due to the winds and rain on Wednesday night but someone said it could be a virus effecting his muscles. I am going to take temperature later but has anyone else got any ideas. He lives out 24/7 and is currently wearing a light weight rug. Thanx in advance
