Was just randomly going through old pics of my boy and was wondering if anyone still has any LeMoss babies/grandbabies on the go?

Would be really interesting to see if any of Claude's brothers or sisters are on here!

We had our Le Moss sired gelding put to sleep 2 years ago, he was 27 still sound and well but winter was coming and he had dropped off a little. For us it was better a day too early than a day too late. He had a full career P2Ping, Chasing and then went hurdling (he was very quick) and still holds the course and distance record at Fontwell. He had a super retirement hacking, cubbing and doing lots of fun rides as Mums favourite. He looked very much like Le Moss - same facial expression and feature ears! He was a huge character and is missed by all.

Aww, I'm really sorry to hear that. Totally agree with you about rather too early than too late.

So lovely to hear about your boy and his happy retirement! He sounds just like mine, yours definitely sounds like he was more successful though! I met one of Claude's trainers a few weeks back and he described him as 'a complete pig' haha! Apparently it depended on what sort of mood he was in if he could be bothered putting in effort to win or not, even though he had it in him as he won quite a few!

We have a grandson of Le Moss on the yard. He is by Fleminsfrith and in all honesty he is a wimp. He is scared of his own shadow, slow, never holds weight or muscle well, is a wimp, jumps well but wont stand up to a chase fence, scared of clippers, scared of the people on or around him if they move their arms, is a wimp, wont gallop on ground he doesnt like, if he doesnt get the run he wants in a race he sulks and stops, he's a wimp.

Did I mention that he is a wimp? Lol!
