Last nite trailered both horses to lesson and on way big horse was bashing around in trailer (he always wiggles at bit). Got there and other horse had slip rope and biting him on his neck- really scary!!!
Had got lesson but could defo see mark on crest came to load to go home and very understandly said horse when mad as i closed up trailer, so had to spent a bit of time calming down etc.... did get home not to bad but a bit of blashing not as bad as on way.
They have never this in 2years travelling together............ I know big one was panicing, any suggestion on helping him cope.............. am borrowing friend's head partition too see if it helps.
Am looking for lorry this is unlike to happen for another 6months

Is it an ifor trailer? I would defo. recommend buying a head partition and sounds like your boy needs a few journeys by himself again to remember the trailer isn't that bad!

Could try giving him rescue remedy the next time he travels and if he eats his haynet during travelling then maybe hid carrots in there so he has got something to really occupy him.
 
I've got the head partition. Works in stopping them biting each other but doesn't half make it awkward to get in an out of yourself as you just can't move!
