depends really merlin's was roughly about 3months for it be like a bog brush...and about 5-6months before i could do anything with it again...

o dear, will be looking like a bog brush all winter, hopefully look nearly normal by summer !!!

yep although different horses hair grow different so it may be quicker if not longer..i like the bog brush look it added character to him...and was easy to brush...
