For those who dont watch Miranda - 'What have you done today to make you feel proud?'

Well - I cantered on a stubble field, may not sound much to most of you, but I seriously lost my bottle after having my baby in March 09. I was almost over it when I had a crashing face first fall at Easter 2010.

So today I was out on my girlie, we had a lovely trot along one side of a modest sized field, got to the second side, going was good, slightly uphill, nice active trot and I just did it and it felt wonderful.

Onwards and upwards - well not literaly I hope!

What have you guys done today?

Well done you!!!!!!!!!!

I was just stoked that my boss came home from 2 weeks holiday and was dead chuffed with how spot on and sparkling the yard was when she got back. Sounds daft, but I managed to keep all humans and horses happy healthy and sane til her return. I am just coming back to professional horse work after having my boy 12 years ago AND am self employed for the first time!!!! And up til now I have only been there here and there for the odd day, so no full time experience on her yard.

Bit rubbish, but for me, it's my Heather Small moment today :D

I have to say nothing. But just had to say a big well done to you and its not a small thing at all. We all have different issues and things happen that give us all a knock back and it is how we deal with it that matters, I would love to have done that and live in hope that one day soon I will again. So I do understand how it feels when you do something like this and you have every right to feel very proud, well done keep it up. :)

Tennessee - its great to get praise for a job well done, a very good HS moment.

Ebonyallen - You may not have had a HS moment today, but I have read so many inspirational post from you I think you can have a day off!

Love Miranda...! - havent done anything horsey but did hit a ball in rounders at family BBQ! (rubbish at anything un horse related usually so quite chuffed!)

Loving the what I call Miranda reference. Such fun!

Nothing major myself, completing a trec event I guess, pretty well all I've done today! :)

Most of our stubble's been and gone :( But well done you :)

OMG - you hit a roundersball, I could only ever dream of being that well coordinated, I could occasionaly connect with the ball if we were playing with a tennis racket. I prefer to sit it out and provide a commentory.

I had my first gallop of my newish mare a few days ago and stayed on her whilst she cantered on the spot, mini rear and reversed. Again might not sound a lot but back in Feb 2011 I would shake head to toe at the thought of riding and fell off & broke my back in April 2011.

Very impressive, my old girl can be a bit quirky at times, but usualy keeps her front feet on the ground (hinds are another matter)
