Hi there, first of all , gorgeous foals, dont panic!
I have just read your other posts and have to say I know nothing about the goings on inside foals etc however I know plenty of people that do. where abouts in frome are you? Which vet have you had out, is it someone from David Francis's, he is probably the most local horse vet to you. I would recommend you speak to Chris at Marston stud (link below). When we had problems with out hanovarian foal he was able to help. very very knowledgable and very kind and helpful. Where did you get the foals from? I think I might know just what confirmation. pm me if you want. http://www.marstonequestrian.co.uk/
we are ringing people to find out if we can find a mare or quiet gelding to turn out with them or turn them out with, cant thank people enough for being so kind
sorry not near you but just wanted to send you a big hug hope your mare gets well soon. and that all these good people who are near you can give you some support. its hard when things dont go as you plan.
hugs all round
tea and biscuit for all.
keep fighting
Really pleased ot find some supportive posts, I have been in regualar contact with jasperboy who hopefully now has a surrogate 'nanny' pony for the foals.
Could i just point out that some people have PM'd some really nasty messages to jasperboy who has in the last couple of weeks spent a small fortune on these foals both in buying them a (was stung on price) and in the subsequent vets bills that have followed.
To those of you who have sent spiteful messages they help no one and certainly dont help the foals and you should be damn well ashamed of yourselves.
To those of you like tonto and tigger, thankyou
