I have a 4mth old labradoole bitch she just come up 4 mths is on 3 meals a day she can get through a 15kg sack of food in a few weeks vets said im not over feeding, last time i got her weight she was16kg (just over) and is 23" at the shoulder. The breeder said the max she woulds get is 25" full grown, cant see that happening! She is all legs and growing, Love her to bits but wonder how big she will get and if any one else has a large one?

I have a labradoodle boy who is 8 and half months old. His mum is a black lab and his dad a chocolate standard. At 4 months old he weighed 17kg and three weeks ago he was 28kg. He is 23 inches at the shoulder. I don't know how tall he was at four months but at the time he was very leggy and we thought he was going to be tall. He is more stocky than leggy now. At four months I think a 15kg bag of food lasted him about 6 weeks. I would imagine that your girl at 23 inches at four months is going to be tall, I have heard of doodles that are 29 inches at the shoulder. You can never really be sure how they are going to turn out. As a puppy mine was jet black, he now has a ginger muzzle and greying legs, he is quite blond at the back of his paws!! apparently its quite common for them to change colour.

A one we had in our rescue at 4months old, she was alos very tall and gangly and hard to get weight on:D

Can't answer the question but met a 13 week old labradoodle coming back from our walk today and I asked if he'd shed at all! I'm such a cow, but the caretaker at work has one and is sheds like a Lab, apparently.

A whole family was out with him, grandma included. She said 'Oh he won't shed although I suppose it depends on how much Labrador and how much poodle he has in him'. Honestly, I had to go before I wet myself!
