I am looking for a good weight carrying horse, suitable for novice/nervous to do a bit of everything. SJ/XC/flatwork. Needs to be a good confidence giver, have found this one on www.pocketnookfarm.co.uk, name of toady. Honest opinions please. xx

right, personally i think he has quite a weak backend (but without seeing it in person you will never really tell) and doesn't have the best jumping technique but then most horses don't over jumps that size.

ETA other than that he looks lovely and has a very kind eye.

|There was a discussion on another one from there recently . .*disappears off to find it*

Found it! web page

Nothing negative said re dealer but you might want to drop monkeybum a pm?

He doesn't look very keen to bend to the inside, which may just be a size and lack of schooling issue, but I would get him vetted anyway just to make sure.

Other than that, if he is as described he should be a lot of fun and worth his weight in gold!

I dont believe this!!! She told me he would not be sold by the weekend, contacted her this morning to say we could come up on sunday and guess what!!!! She has sold him!!!!

A good horse will always go quickly. Bad luck.

Perhaps ask her to keep an eye open for something similar for you?

He looked a tiny 16hh, didnt you say prev you were looking for something more chunky & bigger as weight carrier? I may be wrong on that my memory is not amazing lol! I have a friend who is a dealer I can ask if they have anyting in that might suit you if you pm what youre looking for will ask :-)

p.s. am a believer in it wasnt meant to be with that horse being sold - you'll find the right one soon :-)
