Well hay fever ;)

Last couple of days I've started with it, that itchy throat thingy (between your throat and your ears ....I presume that's got something to do with hay fever, correct me if I'm wrong) as well as the groggy feeling, runny nose, itchy nose, sneezing, itchy eyes arhhhhhhh it's driving me mad!

Someone mentioned it was too early for horses to show signs of head shaking, surely not, I'm having symptoms now so some of our horses that suffer from this will be as well.

Anyone else started yet...or their horses for that matter?

Funny you should say that. Last week I thought my boy was shaking his head a bit but I thought no it's too early but this week he seems fine!
Although last week it was quite warm 15deg some days, this week its alot colder only 2deg!

My skewbald cob is supposed to suffer from headshaking according to his previous owner but is okay so far.....I'm going to get him a half nose net that just covers his nose so he can still grazed and some pollenex, hopefully that should help.

Unfortunately I get it all year round. Only have to go in the hay barn and I erupt.

itchy throat/ears/eyes
cough/wheezy
hives on my arms
runny nose

Im always armed with piriton.

All for the love of my babies.

I've been shaking my head since i bought the bugger but not to do with the pollen i'm afraid!

Sorry not very constructive but its friday and thats the best i can offer! x
