Any reason why i am not being able to receive PM's??!

I am not sure why but i am not managing to receive any private messages at the moment? I have deleted a whole load and dont think i have got that many anyway. Any thoughts??!!

it happened once to me when i was new.
think it was in;
user options ,then personal details,scroll down to near the bottom and you will see do you want to recieve messages or not.
