I have been trying to sell my daughter's jumping pony for a couple of months now, but am having no response to my ad (apart from one young girl who only wanted to know how high he could jump!).

Daughter will be 16 in Sept and our BSJA membership has run out (they won't give me a 6 mth renewal).

So I am wondering about sending him away to be sold. I would much rather sell him myself as I want to know where he would be going - he is very special (aren't they all?). But just don't seem to be getting any enquiries at all about him.

Anyone know of anyone who sells jumping ponies?

Thanks,

queenhome sell eventing horses and ponies:

www.queenhome.com

they currently have a mare I rode there for sale. and they have a storming little welsh A for sale there so got lots of variation of sellables

so if your pony has good paces they should possibly take.........

or my friend runs ivanhoe equestrian and although she doesnt do jumping ponies she retrains and sells ex racers and may be able to help you out or at least point you in the right direction:

thanks everyone for these suggestions - I will take some time now to investigate them and see if it's the direction I want to go in. Thanks.

It might be too far (Beds) but John Whinnett has started dealing in ponies they seem to move through quite quickly so it would be worth giving him a call.

No Bedfordshire not too far - I'm fron Bedford and regularly go there to visit family n friends so may combine with a visit to John's yard for a looksee.
