Any Scottie dog owners here?

My little scottie has started to go really grey round the back of his neck. He's only 6 and Ive read they live to around 11-13 years, so he's not old. I just wonder if there may be a reason he's gone grey of it is normal?

I don't have a Scottie but I do not think it is unusual for darker-pigmented dogs, maybe someone can correct me if I am wrong.

My friend's GSD bitch is six and she very grey around her muzzle but still picks up prizes (once the judge has double checked that she doesn't need to be in the veteran classes just yet

)

Yes it can be normal for them to get grey hairs at that age, we had scottys dogs many years ago (well parents did) I used to show my two, so its nothing to worry about.
