Hope she does well in the classes - she should do esp in the coloured - lovely markings.

im now a show cob owner, did our first one 3 weeks ago and have another 4 or 5 coming in quick succession. judges loved him, conformation, paces, arch etc etc and said we should go far, him not me, its all down to him i can assure you!!! enjoy its awesome.

My cob is too big for cob classes, but does really well in Coloured, Cob Type and Riding Club Horse classes (in fact in a recent show we won all three classes!!)

Thanks...She (I know she looks like a boy) is 15.2hh/15.3hh. I have had her since she was 6 (13now), we only really did the odd local show and sponsored rides till this year. Now we are doing a bit of unaffiliated dressage (came 3rd in a Novice Test last week), starting SJ (because I qualified for the dressage part of a combined training championship on the 1st test I did, so thought I would try and qualify for the jumping part, which we did. So all set for our 1st combined traiining event in September). Haven't done as much showing this year, as am having more fun doing a bit of everything.

Whoops - sorry i didnt mean any offence - she is gorgeous! Sounds like you are having lots of fun with her - she looks like she has a lovely jump in her!! I love combined training - used to so a lot at Duchy college in Cornwall. Great fun. Hope you do well - you must post some of the pictures!!

Wow, she is adorable - i love her! i used to have a piebald mare too. She has a great jump and you look like you really enjoy her! Great photos esp the ones of her eyes...stunning!

I have 2 traditional show cobs. One at county level (girl on the right in the siggy) the other has just started his showing career.

Heres my little cob, i trim him up as a show cob although he only does local level showing and RC activities. Meet Mr Twirl!!
