any southeast show jumpers???

hi everyone!! i was just wondering how many of you fellow show jumpers happened to be around the southeast? i'm based in berkshire, and always at the same sort of shows -blewbury, patchetts, quob, windsor, yately (in times of need as its so close), medstead etc etc.... just wondering if there were many others out there who head to the same shows as me, as its always nicer to have a group of you enjoying the day - don't you think!?? i have my own transport - just like the added company! im usually around for most of the day as i have 2 real youngsters and one whose just moved up to 1.20 classes etc, so usually stuck at the shows for hours on end!!!!!
 
Hello....well i'm south-east based....but all the venues you mention are 'north' and 'west' from where i go lol!

I'm often to be found at Golden Cross, Crockstead, Royal Leisure, Pyecombe, Felbridge, Ardingly, Hickstead.....and occasionally venture 'oop north' to places like Norton Heath and hopefully this year Towerlands.

I can sympathise with you as i also have one horse jumping 90cms and 1m's and the other doing 1.10m's and soon 1.15m's and 1.20m's

Ill be in those areas soon (well when i get my lorry) I have a youngster and a 1.20 horse !!!
 
Hello there, I go to the same shows are you- Medstead, Quob (on the rare occasion it is on at the weekend), Crofton, Kingston Maurward and shortly Yately.

I am based near Bournemouth so all the shows are are a long way away. I probably see you most weeks!

Looking forward to the outdoor season for the away shows this year- we are starting with Dorset showground (after Blue Chip), then to Wales & West (never been) and Bicton in August. My horse is going back to his professional rider (in Berkshire, like you actually!) for June to do his Newcomers & Fox second rounds so that wipes that time out for me.

I used to go on my own to shows like but my friend has just just started doing BN & discovery, and I am doing newcomers to fox - the early starts are here again to take her! At least when we stay away it will be ok.

Any plans for the weekend? Was going to go to Crofton on Friday afternoon to do the 1.15 & fox but I very unfortunately have to go to an unexpected funeral. Is Yately running this weekend? It says so on the BSJA website but as Yately do not have their own website it is hard to know. The first outdoor of the year!

i am south west but go to some of the same ones you do! we often go berkshire way. but i try and avoid yatley and blewbury, although sometimes go to blewbury in the summer as the outside is ok!
i only have 2 jumping at the mo (busy at uni - my last year thank god) doing fox-1.30. so i prob bump into you without noticing!!
btw i am usually 9cheese but ive forgotton my password so needed new account!!

Im an eventer really but SJ all through the winter and in the spring at Royal Leisure, Crockstead, Golden Cross, Pyecombe, Felbridge, and very very occasionally go to Medstead and Merrist Wood.

I have a pony (well he's 15hh) jumping BN and occasionally disc. and a 5yr old that has just jumped herself out of BN and is not comfortably jumping discovery.

Maybe will see you out and about

I go to Merrist Wood, Vicarage Farm, Royal Leisure, Sands, Windsor Park, Medstead, Felbridge, Pyecombe so gives us a shout when you are going and we can say hello

I'm in the South East and tend to go to Royal Leisure, Merrist Wood, Medstead, Windsor Park, Addington, Golden Cross, Crofton Manor.
Quite new to showjumping as I previously evented but young horse will be jumping discovery and newcomers and new horse *hopefully* 1.10 and 1.20 this year.

ah ha! so there are quite a few of you out there!! thats nice to know!!! i forgot to mention royal leisure, hicksteas etc - i got there too!!!
well fingers crossed ill bump into some of you at some point! its so exciting to have summer on its way - i cant wait for the bigger shows - wales and west, bicton, hickstead etc - always so much fun.

and by the way - yately is running - shame they dont have a website - but im pretty sure its on almost every weekend now for a few months!!!
