I ride Marnie in a Barefoot treeless saddle, she goes really well in it but due to her sensitive skin I have to put a numnah under the proper saddlepad otherwise she twitches. I currently have a Numed extra full half wool one, but it isn't quite big enough and I am trying to find something bigger - either half wool or cotton.

Anyone any suggestions?

This is what it needs to go under (excuse the shaggy look!!)

A large Polly Pad?

Or have a look on eBay, there are lots of numnahs sold for Treeless saddles, cheapo versios of the Grandeur pads sold for Barefoots. They will be the same shape, but not as technical.

Or, a western pad or blanket would certainly be big enough.

Or you could get a Barefoot Grandeur Physio pad.

Unfortunately I have tried all the proper treeless pads - I've got the physio one, but they make her twitch under the saddle, the only thing that doesn't is cotton or wool. I bought a polypad pod, but it isn't big enough and sits too far under the saddle and I am worried about pressure points.

Fussy horse!!!

I used to exercise race horses. For the sake of economy they were sent out with a simple piece of cotton or wool, pieces of old sheets or blankets under their saddlecloths. This kept everything clean and the sensetive horses simply didn't go as well without their piece of sheet! Might be worth a go.

I have a very large full sheepskin numnah, cotton sided under the saddle that I bought from Robinsons (their sizing baffles me). It cost me about £60. Its absolutely enormous and even on m 17.2 I feel like one of those household cavalry guys all wrapped in sheepskin. I can't use it as its just ridiculous, and its meant to be full size. I also then bought the next size down but that's too generous too! So they are both added to the bottomless chest that contains all the items I've bought but don't use and don't know what to do with. I guess its a GP shape, and don't know anything about endurance shapes etc, but if you check it out on their website and want the dimensions I can measure it for you if that's any help before you cough up all that money!

I have the same problem and I use Nuumed original numnah see page 156 rideaway it shows sizes and you wan't extra large no one else seems to do this size except rideaway.
