Hi all

I'm going to be moving to Bristol in the next couple of months and I'm looking around for a yard for my TB mare. Does anyone have any ideas? Here's what I need:

1. Either an indoor school or day time field turnout in the winter (both would be ideal).
2. 24/7 turnout in summer
3. Part livery
4. Barn/indoor stables
5. Good public transport links

I don't have a place to live yet but my choice will depend on how far it is from the yard.

Any suggestions?

Sorry just saw you will decide on location according to the yard!

With all you want you have...

Westerleigh Stables (although only 4 stables are indoors)
Grove Farm (although currently full with long waiting list)
Leyland Court (turnout limited in daytime in winter as far as I know, they do have a pen though)
Jim Short's in Wick
Buckover Farm
Billow Farm (more Glos really)
Myrtle Farm (not sure if stabling is indoors)
I know JB Equestrian has indoor stabling, but don't know what turnout is like
OldDown Equestrian (Thornbury)

That's all that come to mind off the top of my head, but I don't know the other side of the city very well livery wise (I only know JB Equestrian for family reasons!)

When you say good public transport do you mean to bus it to your yard? This will definitely have implications on where you choose. Bristol public transport is pants.
