Oh my gosh!! I went to feed suppliers this week and bought a bag of Dengie Alpha A molasses free (so far so good!). When I got my little bum comfortable in the drivers seat and picked up my reciept I realised that it had gone up four pounds since last month when I bought it! Four pounds!!! How can this happen! It's crazy! So I start searching the net for something similiar but cheaper and I am just loosing my mind with what to buy! Horse feed certainly ain't simple! So here's where you guys come in: Can you recommend something for my girl.
She's currently fed on Spillers original balancer which is around twenty six quid a bag! And Alpha A molasses free which is now nearly sixteen pound a bag!
I do have some requirements though. Shes 16 and doesn't keep condition BUT I don't want stuff that is filled with cereals, sugar and starch because not only is it not good for her but she's barefoot too.
I saw that mollichaff do a alfafa plus oil. Has anyone tried it? Its a lot cheaper so I'm thinking of that and also a balancer that is cheaper? Any suggestions are very very welcome because I am just so lost! The stress of horses lol!
