I have had ring worm on my leg for over a month now.Initially i treated it for 2 weeks with over the counter anti-fungal creams, but it didnt clear up.
I went to the doctors nearly 3 weeks ago and the gave me tablets and some stronger cream.
It has got a tiny bit smaller, but not much, and has now spread on my chin.I wouldnt of thought it would spread being on tablets?
Has anyone got any suggestions of clearing it up........PLEASE!!

our vet recommends Dactarin (sp), i believe you can buy that over the counter. we used it on the horses and it seemed to work well.

Buy some Nizeral from the chemist - its a hair shampoo that contains an anti fungal - use it instead of shower gel - all over.

Use Canestan rinse for your washing so that any spores on your clothes are killed.

I caught ringworm from a kitten a few months ago and the Nizeral worked really fast. Also good for mudfever, greasy heel, rain scald and bald patches on your horses face!
