I had a lightweight for my boy, great price and lasted 2 years, which is very good for my horse, rug destroyer extrodinaire. I would say they are built for the heavier horse, fairly wide at the shoulder and very deep, fitted my shire boy perfectly but think they might drown a tb!

i bought the same rug of ebay for £45. Mine is normally quite good with rugs and doesn't destroy them but there was about 6 tears in the rug within a week. Nice enough rug if it wasn't falling apart!

Have had a few gallops and found them a waste of money tbh. Waterproofing wears off very quickly and the inside lining rips easily.
