i have been looking for a new horse since oct time and have come across this advert.

I love the look of this mare and would love to go see her (obv have to be after xmas now) but she is slightly over my price bracket (£2000 max). How negotaible do you think most selllers are at the mo?

I would be looking to do mainly RC with possibly some aff dressage thrown in too.

Anything stike anyone as wrong with her or worth a call???

I think she looks really nice and they seem keen to sell. Definitely worth a phone call and go see if still interested. They can only say no and nothing ventured....

my only real concern was being unable to go untill after xmas. think this would be an issue??

They have already dropped from £3k, probably worth asking especially if they know she will be going to a caring knowledgeable home. Each month not sold is costing them money they may not want to afford.

Definately worth asking or if you really liked her seeing if you could scrape together another £250 to meet them half way. After all you could easily spend that on petrol travelling around to look at unsuitable horses (well that's how I justified it when I bought mine as he was £250 over my budget

)

Don't know if you're in Lancashire but the weather here would probably put anybody off, so I don't think it'll be a problem that you can't go until after Christmas.

When you ring, I'd ask her show name so you can look up her results, if she's done any competeing.

I like the look of her, definitely worth a call.

thanks everyone. i am in cumbria and we are having some pretty rough weather too. feilds have been white for days and when some does melt off the ground is so frozen it just sits there and re-freezes again! My mile long lane is a nightmare!! Complete snow on ice scenario!
Hullabaloo, i see what you mean about travelling costs, anywhere from my place is an hour to the motorway before the real travelling!!
Holly, i didnt realise she was for sale so many places! Must be keen to sell.
Is it wrong I am feeling excited about this!!!

She looks nice. My only comment is that often it is what is not said that is interesting. The advert makes no mention of her jumping so if you want to do ANY jumping I would ask about that before making a journey.
