Does your TT ever get mistaken for a labradoodle/cockerpoo? I took our dog to a local show in the summer, the judge in the pedigree class knelt down, looked my TT full in her little monkey face and said "isn't she lovely - is she a labradoodle?" I'm thinking of getting a t shirt printed up to say "NO! my dog isn't a labradoodle!" :D I think its cause she's wearing a pet clip at the moment.

I used to look after my friend's TT a lot when they were on holiday - she was never mistaken for a labradoodle, although people always asked me what she was!

I had to laugh the other week I had a girl bring a Porti in to the shop for a trim, and I had to stop myself how "labradoodle-like" it was!

'Doodles are just the flavour of the month, and TT's not that common so I suppose it's pretty understandable, the mistaking them - but a person judging a class ought to know better?

I used to want a t-shirt saying "They're not puppies" cos when my MinPins were young people would always think they were Dobie pups. However, a boyfriend kindly pointed out that wearing a tee shirt with this slogan might be misconstrued....LOL

I guess she does look a bit like a labradoodle but I dislike them so I got a bit offended - plus a TT holds its tail over its back, labradoodles don't - should have been the biggest giveaway maybe!

and I like the idea of that t shirt idea lol, think i'll have to get me one of those

i dont have a TT but think i would like one in the future.what are they like to train & live with? i have always had border collies & competed in agility with them,i love collies cos they are such fun, lively, happy, trainable dogs always up for a game or walk or a bit of training.how do you think i would find a TT?:)
would love to see any photos of your TT
hope to go to crufts this year & find out more about them
