prince has a lump under his eyelid, its only just appeared today, its soft around the edges but hard in the middle. its weeping a little but thats about it.

they have been around him abit today but its been raining last few days, hes abit of a hedge ferret aswell! vet is out tuesday anyway for the 6th million time, but if its really bad 2moro il give them a ring. typical its bank holiday weekend.
 
If he's a hedge rummager is there any chance he could have a thorn in there that's gone a bit gunky ? - my mare had a similar thing on the side of her muzzle, gave it a little sqeeze and the thorn shot out along with some gunk.
 
this is what im worried about, there isnt any ovbious wounds on the outside and if its under the eyelid that could be an issue. he had a thorn in his ear once but the end was visible and i managed to get it out but i was swollen and manky.
 
mare mare had no mark on the outside of her face at all - just the lump seemed to appear and it was soon after dentist had been so I thought it was something from inside that was causing an abcess but gave it a little squeeze from each size and it just burst out, I understand your concern though as its round his eye you don't want to mess with eyes too much, good luck.
 
bloomin animal, as if hes not given me enough grief! il send a picture of it to my vet 2moro and see what he thinks. hes prety good at texting me back on a weekend.
 
looks like flys or insects have been annoying him, it should go away in time, but just check with vet tomorrow, i tink he will be ok.
