My tip would be when you pay for lessons with decent instructors why would you then ask for advice on the lesson from a load of faceless people who you have no idea who they are?

Other tip - video editing is an art - watching footage of fencing is not very interesting.

I was going to say HANDS - but of course your instructor picks you up on them loads of times - again begging the question why you feel the need to ask other people for comments.

I don't have hours to spend watching footage of fencing as I not only go riding but have a number of horses to get out and about.

I just wonder if you had two opposing ocmments and one said "OMG you are a wonderful rider" and the other said "OMG your hands, your position, give up now" how you would work out which one was of any value? The first might have been said by a kiddy who'd never actually had a lesson and the second by a List 1 judge - or the other way round - but you wouldn't know which was which.

As I said before, lush pony and private lessons with yet another astonishingly good instructor. I can offer literally no more than how very lucky you are, and I hope you're enjoying it while you're young enough to. Everything you do wrong he picks up on instantly. All I can say is listen a little closer and try and do exactly as he says when he says it. If he's saying something like hands up or hands still repeatedly, they might feel up or still to you but they're not enough as he's repeating his instruction.

I think (and I somewhat agree) that hic thinks that you're having a lesson with someone who has taught you before, knows your horse and you well and is amazing. We can offer nothing beyond 'what a nice pony'...

You were leaning forward a little at first, but after the canter section you were much straighter looking.
I thought you leaned back somewhat far during the canter itself...I'm not sure if this was intentional. It isn't how I ride a canter, but I'm not an expert by any means.
Maybe work on deepening your seat? That never hurt anyone. I had an instructor who would make us do rising trot without any stirrups to practice.

And give that lovely little horse a pat on the neck when you are done:) He doesn't deserve to be called names.

Agree that your instructor is the best one to talk to for advice.

well, I'd say you need to keep a consistant contact with your horse, keep your hands low.
Put your leg under you, you have an armchair leg position, not sure if that is what makes you lean back? but in the canter you are in a driving seat, so telling your horse to run on, you need to sit up, drop the heel ( not push forward ) and relax your shoulders.
I would actually say it might be worth getting the saddle checked with the saddler watching you ride as it looks like you are fighting against the saddle to keep your position.
I'm sure these are things you have heard already from your RI.
Calling the horse names is also a pet hate of mine...
Kx
