Need a new saddle for my horse but as she's changing shape a lot I'm looking into a treeless so what's your opinion on this one? Or any other treeless suggestions? Must be suitable for a highish withered tb. Thank you

We have 2 on order and 2 in the tack room![]()
In the tack room we have a vogue dressage and a phoenix gp but have a dressage and another gp flexEE on order. They are fab fab fab saddles and they are used currently on two thoroughbreds (both ex racers) one has high ish withers and the other has VERY high/steep withers and they suit them great.
If you get in touch with your local ee instructor they will fit one for you and let you have a play in it to see what it feels like, but just a warning.... You wont want to get back out![]()
Thank you that sounds great, do you feel that the horses move better in them?
Are they back out in order then? When I was interested they were being recalled and had massive back log ordering problems. FlexEE or iPad hmmmmmmm decisions I need to make!!
It's on my wish list! Guys just wondered how much you've paid n all. I know the saddle itself is here hundred and fifty quid but hat did you pay for a fitting etc. just wondering how much I'd need to save.
I ride in a vogue but I was at heathers when the new adjusted version of the flexee arrived and I have to say it was lovely.
Very comfortable and I saw it used on quite a few horses, they all seemed to go well in it and all the riders liked it to.
The flexee is different to the Fhoenix, it feels much narrower and the seat is much more comfortable.
Oooooh I'm interested in this too! My mum's horse is a 16hh TBx with high, atrophied withers. Was recommended to try a Heather Moffett saddle by her chiropractor. OP - let us know if you get one of Heather's saddles, I'd love to know how you get on.![]()
Yes they are suitable for high withers - any qus can b directed to ur local fitterthey can ans better than those who Have only ridden in them a few times!
ImmyS - you've given me the kick up the a*se that I needed! Have just emailed my local EE instructor and EE themselves to see what they suggest and to hopefully arrange a fitting. Eeeeeee exciting!!Hope you get something sorted soon.
I have a vogue dressage, borrowed one to try last christmas, Dan liked it & I liked it so bought one second handWe've done dressage in it, WH, jumping, XC, hacking... all sorts. Sat in the FlexEE GP at YHL, so comfy
Hoping to try one in the new year and see if it'll be any better for jumping in than the dressage saddle (which isn't bad, I just generally like somewhere to put my knees, and can't afford the vogue GPT as well!).
